The finish systems we use
There is no single best finish. There is a best finish for your floor, your household, and how you want the wood to look in ten years. Here is what we work with and where each one belongs.
Waterborne finish systems
Loba
Premium German waterborne finishes known for exceptional durability, clarity, and ultra-low VOC emissions. When a household needs maximum surface protection with minimal odor and a fast return to normal life, this is usually where we start.

Penetrating hardwax oil
ProCoat Hardwax Oils
Our preferred penetrating finish system for homeowners who want a natural appearance, excellent repairability, and a finish that becomes more beautiful with age. It sits in the wood rather than on top of it, so the floor still feels like wood underfoot.

Most finish failures are really sanding failures. These are the machines that decide whether a matte or natural oil floor looks flawless or looks streaky.
Lagler sanding equipment
German-built sanding and edge equipment. Consistent cut, predictable behavior, and the control needed to remove exactly as much wood as the floor can spare.
